Forouzan Soleimani No Longer Iran’s Women’s Futsal Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iran Football Federation has parted ways with women’s futsal coach Forouzan Soleimani.
Under her leadership, Iran finished in third place at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup China 2025 in mid-May.
Team Melli Banovan secured its spot in the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025 as one of the top three teams.
However, the federation has decided not to renew her contract.
Candidates to take charge of the team are Niloofar Ardalan and Shahrzad Mozafar.
