Iranian Weightlifters Win Medals in 2025 Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Alipour and Alireza Moeini of Iran won a gold and a bronze medal respectively in the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships on Wednesday.
Alipour claimed the title for a total of 390kg and bronze medal was won by Moeini with 383kg in the 96kg weight class.
South Korean weightlifter Won Jong-beom seized the silver medal with 385kg.
The 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships are being held in Jiangshan, China, from 9 to 15 May 2025.
