Iran’s Hosseini Wins Bronze in World Youth & Junior Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian weightlifter Zahra Hosseini seized a bronze medal in the 2025 World Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships on Saturday.
Hosseini came third in the women’s 64kg, lifting 86kg in snatch and 111kg in clean and jerk for a total of 197kg.
Albanian weightlifter Enkileda Carja claimed the gold medal with 98-115-213.
Femliy Notte from Nauru won the silver with 92-110-202.
The global competition has gathered weightlifters from 22 countries together in Lima, Peru.
