Persepolis Beats Mes: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated Mes 3-0 in 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
In the match held in Rafsanjan, Ali Alipour opened the scoring for Persepolis just five minutes into the match.
With one minute left until the break, Serdar Dursun made it 2-0 and Alipour completed his brace in the added time.
Persepolis sits third with 54 points, seven points behind leader Tractor.
Esteghlal Khuzestan played out a goalless draw with Kheybar in Ahvaz, Foolad and Chadormalou shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Yazd, and Nassaji drew 0-0 with Havadar in Ghaemshahr.
