Persepolis Earns Big Win over Sepahan: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis edged past Sepahan 1-0 in Week 2 of the 2025-26 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Monday.
In the match, held in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium, Ali Alipour scored the winning goal with one minute remaining until the break.
Elsewhere, Kheybar defeated Aluminum 1-0 in Arak, and Paykan was held to a 1-1 draw by Esteghlal Khuzestan in Tehran.
