Heavy shelling also continued in the Al-Zeitoun and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.
Earlier on Monday, Israeli warplanes destroyed several residential homes in Rafah, in southern Gaza. Artillery attacks also persisted in the northern areas of the city during the airstrikes.
The Al-Mawasi area and Bani Suheila town in Khan Younis were bombed again, as they had been in recent days.
At least three civilians were killed in those attacks, and several others were injured.
In another strike, four people were killed and others injured when a house in the Al-Zanah area, east of Khan Younis, was bombed.
Several civilians remain unaccounted for following the attack.
Israeli artillery also struck areas east of Jabalia, north of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, and Qizan Raswan in southern Khan Younis.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a statement that renewed Israeli attacks and the collapse of a ceasefire have displaced nearly 420,000 people again across the Gaza Strip.
