Iran’s Maghsoodloo Wins Bronze at Tunisia Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Parham Maghsoodloo of Iran claimed a bronze medal at the Djerba International Chess Festival 2025 on Sunday.
French Marc'Andria Maurizzi won the event with 7.5 points and the silver medal went to Belgian Daniel Dardha with 6 points.
Maghsoodloo came third with 5 points.
Parham Maghsoodloo, the highest-ranked Iranian grandmaster, is a three-time national champion and was the World Junior Champion in 2018.
The tournament is being held in Djerba, Tunisia from February 15 to 24.
