TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Malavan and Gol Gohar have secured their spots in the 2024-25 Hazfi Cup quarterfinals.
Malavan clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Zob Ahan in Bandar Anzali, with Mohammad Omri scoring the decisive goal in the 117th minute.
Meanwhile, Gol Gohar ousted Kheybar Khoramabad 4-2 in penalty shootout after a goalless draw through regular play.
The Hazfi Cup is Iran's annual knockout football competition, organized by the Football Federation of Iran. Sepahan enters this season as the defending champion.
