IPL: Sepahan Held in Isfahan Derby
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Sepahan was held to a 1-1 draw by Zob Ahan on Sunday.
In the match, held in Isfahan’s Foolad Shahr Stadium, Arya Yousefi gave the visiting team a lead in 31st minute but with seven minutes remaining, Kamal Kamyabinia leveled the score in the Isfahan derby.
In Khoramabad, Kheybar lost to Tractor 2-1. Ricardo Alves put the visiting team ahead in the 12th minute but Mehrdad Ghanbari was on target for Kheybar from the penalty spot in the 20th minute. Danial Esmaeilifar scored the winner for Tractor just after the hour mark.
Sepahan leads the table with 13 points, followed by Tractor with 10 points.
