Javanmardi Ready to Shine in Asian Para Games

A galaxy of stars will look to stamp their class once again when the shooting Para sport events at the Asian Para Games 2022 kick off in Hangzhou, China from October 23.

Shooting will be contested over five day and will see 101 athletes from 17 nations vying for top honors in the 13 medal events at the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Centre.

In the women’s pistol event, Iran’s Paralympic champion Javanmardi will be among the favorites.

Javanmardi, who has recently given birth to a baby boy, will be hoping to win in front of her new-born who travelled to China with her. She will also be up in action in the 50 m mixed pistol event where she will defend her title.
