Iran Women’s Team Suffers Losses at 2023 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s basketball team failed to book a place in the next stage of the 2023 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup on Saturday.
The Iranian team was defeated against the Philippines 16-14 and then suffered a 21-12 loss against China in Pool A.
The competition started in Singapore on March 29 and will finish on April 2.
The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 is of great importance, being qualifier for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024), where the champion will play the Olympic play-off with the continental champions to determine the participating teams in the Olympics.
