Iran Remains 21st in FIFA Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football team remained in 21st place in the FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Iran is the best Asian team in the ranking.
Japan and Korea Republic also maintained their positions as Asia’s second and third best teams at 23rd and 29th respectively.
Both teams finished second in their respective groups to confirm their spot in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Brazil leapfrogged Belgium to take the top spot in the newest rankings. France, Argentina and England followed. Italy, Spain, Portugal, Mexico and the Netherlands filled out the top 10.
