IPL: Esteghlal Beats Sanat Naft, Persepolis Defeats Naft Masjed Soleyman
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team defeated Sanat Naft 1-0 on Matchweek 22 of the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Friday, and Persepolis defeated Naft Masjed Soleyman 2-1.
In Tehran, IPL leader Esteghal defeated Sanat Naft thanks to Amir Hossein Hosseinzadeh’s first half goal.
In Masjed Soleyman, Reza Asadi scored twice for Persepolis in the 9th and 20th minutes.
Peyman Miri halved the deficit for Masjed Soleyman in the 77th minute.
Furthermore, Sepahan defeated Nassaji 3-1, Zob Ahan pummeled Aluminum 4-0 and Gol Gohar was held to a goalless draw against Paykan.
