Iran into Junior World Kabaddi Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran booked a place at the inaugural edition of the Junior World Kabaddi Championship on Thursday.
The Iranian team defeated Chinese Taipei 53-31.
Iran had defeated Thailand 90-16, Turkmenistan 90-46 and Malaysia 70-29 in its previous matches.
The competition is being held on Kish Island, Iran from November 9 to 15.
The World Cup aims at providing a platform for young and talented players from the grassroots level to enhance their interest in representing their national side in future tournaments.
