West Suffered Defeat in Syria: Ex-Czech Diplomat
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Vladimir Votapek, the former Czech diplomat highlighted that the West has suffered defeat in Syria, especially due to Syrian army achievements against terrorists.
Syrian Arab News Agency citing an article published by Czech news website Idnes on Monday pointed out to Votapek’s analysis who suggested the war on Syria ended after the army succeeded in restoring security and stability to most regions of the country, while the West suffered defeat in spite of the great support given to the terrorist organizations.
Another reason for the defeat of the Western plan as SANA report puts it according to Votapek’s analysis was the success of the Syria talks in Astana, which was a series of trilateral talks between Russia, Turkey and Iran in the Kazakh capital that had focus on creating de-escalation zones, aiming to bringing peace to the country.
