Persepolis, Foolad Share Spoils: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Foolad football team came from a goal down to draw with Persepolis in the 2025-26 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.
Persepolis forward Ali Alipour scored in 43rd minute in Tehran’s Shar-e Qods Stadium and Mohammad Reza Soleymani canceled out his goal in the 47th minute.
Elsewhere, Shams Azar was held to a 1-1 draw by Paykan in Qazvin, Zob Ahan beat Mes 2-0 in Isfahan and Chadormalou and Malavan shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
Kheybar sits top of the table with seven points from three matches, followed by Chadormalou and Persepolis, each with five points.
