Mehdi Taremi Nets Brace for Olympiacos
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran international forward Mehdi Taremi scored two late goals against bottom-placed Panserraikos on Saturday.
Olympiacos defeated Panserraikos 5-0 at the Karaiskakis Stadium.
Ayoub El Kaabi opened the scoring for the host in the 48th minute. Fransisco Ortega made it 2-0 in the 66th minute and Daniel Podence scored the third goal four minutes later.
With two minutes remaining, Taremi scored the fourth goal and found the back of the net in injury time.
Olympiacos is leader with nine points from three matches.
