Iran, Oman Urge Swift Global Action to Halt Israeli Atrocities
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Zionist regime’s genocidal crimes in Gaza.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed the bilateral and regional developments.
The two senior diplomats reviewed the situation in Palestine, condemned the relentless genocide in Gaza, and called for urgent action by the international community to stop the Israeli genocidal crimes.
They also stressed the need to help the oppressed people of Palestine and prosecute and bring to justice the criminal Zionist leaders.
The Israeli regime’s war on Gaza has killed at least 64,522 people and wounded 163,096 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be under the rubble.
Meanwhile, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened what he’s calling an intense ground operation in Gaza City, warning Palestinians in the northern urban center to leave.
