Alamiyan Brothers Win Gold, Silver at 2025 WTT Feeder
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian brothers Noshad and Nima Alamiyan claimed two medals at the 2025 WTT Feeder in Olomouc, the Czech Republic on Sunday.
In the men’s double, the Iranian duo lost to Japanese team Yuto Abe and Sota Noda 3-1 in the final and seized a silver medal.
Noshad Alamiyan also won a gold medal in the men’s singles. He defeated Japan’s Hiromu Kobayashi in Round of 64, then defeated Italian Daniele Pinto 3-0 in Round of 32.
Noshad Alamiyan beat his countryman Benyamin Faraji 3-0 in Round of 16 and defeated French player Joe Seyfried 3-0 in quarterfinal. Noshad then beat Moldovan Vladislav Ursu 3-2 in the semifinals.
In the final match, he defeated his Indian rival Harmeet Desai 3-2 (11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8).
