Tractor in Pot 1 of 2025-26 ACL Elite
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Asia’s finest will discover their first steps to ultimate glory on Friday when the League Stage draw for the AFC Champions League Elite (ACL Elite) 2025-26 takes place at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur.
Following the resounding success of the groundbreaking 2024-25 season, the revamped competition is set to once again serve up highly anticipated and epic battles – starting with the 24 teams featuring in the League Stage that kicks off on September 15.
Having claimed its maiden ACL Elite crown in May this year, Al Ahli Saudi FC will be determined to defend the trophy in the 23rd edition of Asia’s top-tier men’s club tournament.
The cast, drawn from 12 Member Associations (MAs), will be placed into two pots within each region, as below:
Pot 1: Al Ahli Saudi FC (KSA), Shabab Al Ahli (UAE), Al Sadd SC (QAT), Tractor FC (IRN), PFC Nasaf (UZB), Al Shorta (IRQ)
Pot 2: Al Ittihad Club (KSA), Sharjah FC (UAE), Al Gharafa SC (QAT), Al Hilal SFC (KSA), Al Wahda FC (UAE), Al Duhail SC (QAT)
