Iran’s Top Diplomat Visits Tajikistan

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has traveled to Dushanbe to hold meetings with senior Tajik officials.

Araqchi was seen off by the ambassador of Tajikistan before leaving Tehran for Dushanbe on Wednesday morning.

The top Iranian diplomat is going to hold meetings with senior Tajik officials to discuss bilateral relations as well as the latest regional and international developments.

In January, Iran and Tajikistan signed 22 memoranda of understanding and issued a joint statement on bilateral cooperation during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s official visit to Dushanbe.
