Yemeni Forces Launch 4th Phase of Anti-Israeli Naval Operations

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Yemen’s military announced a new phase of intensified operations targeting Israeli-linked maritime activity, vowing to continue its campaign until the Zionist regime ends its brutal aggression and blockade on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces declared the beginning of the fourth phase of their naval siege against the Israeli regime.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced the expansion of military operations early Monday, warning companies operating in the occupied Palestinian ports to cease all activities immediately.

"This escalation is a humanitarian commitment in defense of Gaza," Saree said, calling on all governments to pressure the Zionist entity to halt its aggression.

He said the new phase includes targeting all vessels operated by companies doing business in the occupied Palestinian ports.

"From now on, any ship affiliated with these companies, regardless of its destination, will be considered a legitimate target for our missiles and drones wherever they may be," Saree warned.

He added that the continuation of these operations reflects Yemen’s moral and humanitarian duty toward the oppressed people of Palestine.

Days earlier, Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Amer sent a letter to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, reaffirming Yemen’s support for free international shipping --excluding Israeli vessels and those backing the Zionist regime militarily, logistically, or economically.

The letter urged all commercial ships and maritime firms to comply with the directives issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces, stressing that any violation would place full responsibility on those who ignore the warnings.

The Sana’a-based government also advised public and private institutions to avoid any dealings with assets or interests tied to the occupying regime to mitigate the consequences of continued Zionist aggression.

Israeli analyst Eyal Zisser, Vice President of Tel Aviv University, admitted that Yemeni attacks have evolved into a serious threat.

“These are no longer mere early morning disturbances,” he said.

“Yemen’s missile and drone strikes are inflicting heavy costs, disrupting shipping routes in the Red Sea and crippling the port of Eilat.”
