Iran Too Strong for China: 2025 VNL Week 3
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated China 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-17) in the 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Week 3 on Thursday.
Morteza Sharifi led Iran with 15 points, while Chuan Jiang collected 11 points for China.
Team Melli is scheduled to play France and Bulgaria on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The seven best-ranked national teams in each gender at the end of the Preliminary Phase and the host country of the Finals – Poland, for the women, and China, for the men -, will play single elimination matches over five days to determine the champions.
