Gvelesiani Interested in Returning to Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Georgian defender Giorgi Gvelesiani, who was deemed surplus to requirements in Persepolis in April, has shown interest in returning to the Iranian team.
During the 2024-25 season, he struggled to meet expectations and the club parted ways with him.
The former defender of Iranian clubs Zob Ahan, Nassaji, and Sepahan is reportedly linked with the club once again.
Persepolis appointed Vahid Hashemian as head coach in early July.
