An elderly resident recounted that since arriving in 1964, life had deteriorated beyond recognition, and today she is terrified to leave her home after sunset.
She said there is nowhere to relocate and no money to escape.
Knesset foreign workers committee chairwoman Eti Atiya declared after her visit that the crime epidemic has overwhelmed law enforcement.
She witnessed teenagers openly committing dangerous offenses despite police presence.
