Israeli Targets Hit in Fresh Round of Iran’s Missile Attacks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Armed Forces carried out the 16th wave of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime on Friday morning, destroying targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The new round of attacks was launched as part of the Operation True Promise 3 in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s war of aggression against Iran.
The missiles fired by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force on June 20 rained down on targets mainly in the southern parts of the occupied territories.
Sirens sounded in Negev in south of the occupied territories amid Iran’s missile strike. The Israeli regime’s Nevatim airbase is located in the northern Negev desert.
The Hebrew-language media reported that explosions have occurred in Negev after the Iranian missile strike.
The Zionist news agencies announced that one of the Iranian missiles has landed in the vicinity of Microsoft Corporation in Be'er Sheva.
Alaraby TV quoted the mayor of Be'er Sheva as saying that the Iranian missile has directly hit the target without any attempt by the Israeli air defenses to intercept it.
Al-Masirah TV reported that the High-Tech and Cyber Security Center in Be'er Sheva has been damaged in Iran’s missile attack.
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of scores of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.
The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. They IRGC has carried out 16 waves of retaliatory strikes against the Israeli regime as of June 20, inflicting heavy damages on the Zionists.
