Speaker Highlights Iranian Armed Forces’ Strength Demonstrated against Enemies

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf underscored the success of the country’s armed forces to swiftly respond to the Israeli regime’s aggression against the country.

Pointing to the seventh day of this aggression, Qalibaf emphasized that Iran’s armed forces quickly reclaimed the field and demonstrated their strength against the enemies.

“Our noble nation witnessed that after the enemy’s initial move, our armed forces swiftly took control of the field. Today, we proved that the so-called ‘iron dome’, which they had boasted about for years—would not withstand us. In Haifa, Tel Aviv, and other areas, we showed that wherever we decide to strike, we will.”

He also highlighted national unity in support of Iran, saying, “Today, all ethnicities, religions, and political factions in Iran stand united and defend the country. This unity and solidarity hold greater value than any military move.”

He further pointed to the United Nation’s role in supporting Israeli, adding, “If the Zionist regime were left on its own, rest assured it would not survive these attacks (by Iran).”

He went on to say that, “We have shown restraint, but they must know that our nation is not like Western nations that can be controlled by threats.”

Qalibaf stressed that Iran “will tolerate neither an imposed war nor an imposed peace. We have demonstrated this throughout history, and we were victorious in the past war as well.”

The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of scores of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.

The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. They IRGC has carried out 15 waves of retaliatory strikes against the Israeli regime as of June 19, inflicting heavy damages on the Zionists.
