Official Stresses Iran’s Resolve to Confront Israel, Shut Down Its War Machine
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Iranian official reiterated the country’s determination to respond decisively to the Israeli aggression.
Tehran is gearing up to decisively counter Israel’s military operations, and intends to “shut down the regime’s war machine,” the senior Iranian security official told RT on Sunday.
”Iran has been preparing for a long war,” the official said. According to the source, millions of Iranians rallied in the streets on Saturday, defying Israeli attacks, and demanding retribution. “This is an important support for Iran to continue its actions with force,” the official added.
The official outlined Iran’s extensive list of potential targets within occupied territories, which include covert residences of Israeli regime leaders, energy facilities, factories supplying military aircraft, and critical command-and-control infrastructure.
Iran has launched several waves of drone and missile attacks in response to the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression that have taken the lives of tens of Iranians, including military officials, nuclear scientists and ordinary people, since June 13.
The ballistic missiles launched by Iran have hit targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa, the Ben Gurion Airport, and the Nevatim airbase, among other places in occupied territories.
Iran’s major retaliatory operations, condemned True Promise III, have taken a heavy toll during the past three days, destroying many Israeli military buildings.
