Data Gained on Israel to Be Used by Iranian Armed Forces: Intelligence Ministry
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A substantial portion of the sensitive Israeli documents that the Intelligence Ministry of Iran has obtained recently would be advantageous to the Iranian Armed Forces, the ministry said.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Intelligence Ministry gave more details of an “unprecedented” operation that resulted in the acquisition of “sensitive, strategic and the highest level of classified documents” about Israel and dealt a heavy blow to the Zionist regime.
It said a huge amount of documents has been transferred to Iran successfully, noting that all operating forces have safely returned to their positions of service.
The documents which Iran has obtained have strategic, applied, research and scientific value and include information about “illegal and secret plans about nuclear weapons, such as facilities, researches, and connections with American and European institutions, including the Zionist regime’s present and future nuclear plans,” it added.
The statement noted that the documents also contain data on military and missile programs, technical documents on projects with dual purposes, as well as the names, details, images and addresses of the managers, officials and scientists involved in the projects.
The Intelligence Ministry stated that part of the documents on scientific and research achievements can be employed in Iran after being provided for the relevant institutions and organizations.
“A significant portion of the documents would be utilized by the mighty Armed Forces of Iran, while some other parts could be exchanged with the friendly countries or provided for anti-Zionist organizations and groups,” it added.
The statement said the documents reveal how the US and certain European governments have supported and cooperated with the Zionist regime to enhance its arms programs, while they have resorted to falsification and double standards to accuse Iran of developing a non-peaceful nuclear program.
“One of the most interesting documents that have been obtained include recurrent and false reports that the criminal Zionist regime has given to a number of international organizations ‘against the peaceful nuclear programs of our country’. Interestingly enough, the very hypocritical falsifications by the (Israeli) regime have been reflected in the reports and claims of those institutions,” the ministry added.
The statement also noted that the methods used by the Iranian intelligence forces to exfiltrate the documents out of the occupied territories were so smart and multi-layered that could render the Israeli regime’s counterintelligence precautions futile.
Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib said on Sunday that his forces have acquired strategic documents and data about the Israeli regime’s nuclear activities, saying the documents will be made public soon.
Asked if the documents include any non-nuclear data, the intelligence minister said, “They also include other documents about relationship with the US, Europe and other countries, as well as intelligence documents that would boost the country’s (Iran’s) offense power.”
