President Urges Reliance on Iran’s Domestic Capacities
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – If Iran relies upon its own domestic capacities and internal unity, it won’t need to be looking for an agreement with the US or others, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated.
Addressing an academic event in Tehran on Monday, President Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of self-sufficiency and faith in God in addressing the national issues.
“If we can reach an agreement with our elites, scientists, and the people domestically, and if we entrust responsibilities to deserving and competent individuals based on justice, we will no longer need external assistance to solve our problems,” the president stated, his official website reported.
Pezeshkian noted that with the support of academics, students, and elites, all imbalances and challenges can be addressed.
He added that if Iranians rely on their own capabilities, they will no longer be concerned about the outcome of the indirect talks with the US or the effects of sanctions.
Deriding the delusions of the adversaries regarding Iran’s strength, Pezeshkian asserted that the enemies may perceive the country as weak, but it is crucial for all Iranians to understand that by joining hands and setting aside the disputes, they can build the nation. He also called for collective effort of all Iranian people to achieve that goal.
