IRGC Refutes Report of Attack on Israel’s Dimona Nuclear Site
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) dismissed the “big lie” that the Israeli regime’s Dimona nuclear facility has been targeted during Iran’s recent retaliatory operation against the Zionist regime.
In comments on Thursday night, IRGC Spokesperson General Ramezan Sharif denied the report from an Israeli media outlet that the building of Dimona nuclear facility in the occupied territories has been damaged during Iran’s punitive operation against the Zionist regime.
The spokesman noted that the database of targets of Iran’s recent punitive measure –known as True Promise Operation- has never included the Dimona nuclear plant of the Israeli regime.
General Sharif described the media stories on Iran’s strike on Dimona nuclear site as a “big lie” and a “sinister measure” that was part of “the enemy’s psychological operation in order to deceive the public opinion.”
In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched tens of missiles and drones in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s April 1 airstrike that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.
The IRGC commander said authentic reports about the Iranian missiles that have hit the Israeli targets indicate that the retaliatory operation has been considerably more successful than expected.
