Inter Milan Arranges Medical for Porto Striker Taremi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Fabrizio Romano reported Inter has reached a full agreement with Iran international Mehdi Taremi, who will join the Nerazzurri on a free transfer at the end of the season.
According to the report, Taremi will sign a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further campaign. The Nerazzurri have already booked medical examinations for the Iran international.
Taremi will sign his contract with the Nerazzurri after completing his medical checks.
The experienced center-forward had previously been linked with Inter’s city rivals Milan, who tried to sign him last summer.
Taremi will become the first Nerazzurri signing for next season but will likely be followed by Piotr Zielinski, who is expected to join the Serie A giant on a free transfer after the end of his contract with defending Serie A champion Napoli.
Taremi has scored six goals in 24 appearances with Porto this season.
