Turkish Giant Fenerbahce Wants to Hijack Inter Milan’s Target Taremi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce is reportedly working on overtaking Inter Milan in the race for Mehdi Taremi.
The 31-year-old Iranian will become a free agent at the end of the season once his contract with Porto expires.
The Nerazzurri have been negotiating with the player’s entourage for quite some time now. Many sources believe that the Italian giant is on the verge of finalizing an agreement with the striker.
With less than six months remaining on his contract, Taremi can now sign a pre-contract with a new club.
However, a report from Turkey suggests that Inter could still end up missing out on the player’s signature.
