Iran’s Kiani Seizes Silver in Wushu: 2022 Asian Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Wushu athlete Zahra Kiani of Iran won a silver medal in the Women's Qiangshu Final on Wednesday.
Chinese wushu athlete Lai Xiaoxiao claimed the gold at the XSG Sports Centre Taolu and Vietnam’s Duong Thuy Vi collected the bronze medal.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
