Iran Parliament Speaker Urges Unity among Palestinians
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf called for closer unity among the Palestinian groups in the struggle against the Zionist regime.
In a meeting with the political bureau chief of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, held in Tehran on Thursday, Qalibaf praised the Palestinian resistance for the fruitful efforts that have made the Zionist regime passive.
Describing unity in the resistance front as the vital element among the Palestinian groups, the speaker said all Palestinians should pursue the common purpose of defeating Israel.
Dignity comes with resistance, Qalibaf added, warning that negotiation with or giving in to the Zionist regime is doomed to failure.
For his part, Ismail Haniyeh said the Zionist regime and the US are bullies that understand only the language of force.
Paying tribute to late Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and lauding his supports for the axis of resistance, Haniyeh said the challenges and battles across the occupied territories have strengthened solidarity among the Palestinian groups.
The resistance front is currently in the best conditions, he noted, stressing that the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have never been such prepared for confrontation with the Israeli regime.
