Iran’s Oil Minister in Venezuela for Talks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji arrived in Caracas on Thursday with a high-ranking delegation in order to strengthen energy cooperation with Venezuela.
Upon his arrival in Caracas, the Iranian oil minister was welcomed by senior Venezuelan officials.
Bolstering energy cooperation in the down- and up-stream sectors of the oil industry has been cited as the main purpose behind the Iranian minister’s visit to Venezuela.
Owji is scheduled to meet with the Venezuelan political and economic authorities in order to develop activities and define new fields of cooperation.
