Chinese Mainland Records 59 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Chinese mainland recorded 59 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, with 37 linked to local transmissions and 22 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Saturday.
A total of 32 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 777 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation, CGTN reported.
Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 105,934, with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.
The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions is as follows:
Hong Kong: 13,533 (12,710 recoveries, 213 deaths)
Macao: 79 (79 recoveries)
