Four Iranian Border Guards Die in Accident
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Border Police said four servicemen have died in an accident in the country’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan.
It said in a statement that the accident happened in the southeastern border areas on Monday.
The border guards were taken to the hospital, but succumbed to injuries and were martyred, the statement added.
The Iranian Police and security forces have been quite successful in ensuring security in the large province Sistan and Balouchestan despite its long borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan, harsh weather and vast desert areas.
