Children Among over 20 Killed as Israel Ramps Up Bombardment of Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Israeli regime’s offensive in Gaza City has zeroed in on the Sabra neighborhood, where its latest attack has killed three children.
Across the war-battered Palestinian enclave, the Israeli regime’s attacks killed at least 22 people, including 16 in Gaza City, since dawn on Friday.
The Zionist regime’s army is using remote-controlled vehicles packed with explosives to demolish entire neighborhoods in besieged Gaza City after issuing a “last chance” to leave warning to hundreds of thousands of trapped Palestinians.
On Friday, a newborn baby died in Gaza City’s Al Helou International Hospital while infants were being evacuated from the facility because of Israel’s escalating military operations, Al Jazeera reported.
Three premature babies were moved out of the facility while 10 more still need to be evacuated, Wafa news agency reported, quoting medical sources.
Meanwhile, an Israeli attack killed at least seven people in southern Gaza’s al-Mawasi area, where many displaced Palestinians are fleeing.
Another Israeli attack in the Ansar area near Gaza City has killed two more people, according to a local ambulance source.
The Israeli regime’s war on Gaza has killed at least 66,225 people and wounded 168,938 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed buried under the rubble.
