2025 World Wrestling Championships: Ghasempour Wins Bronze
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyle wrestler Kamran Ghasempour claimed a bronze medal on Sunday at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships.
Ghasempour defeated Indian wrestler Mukul Dahiya with a technical superiority in the bronze medal match. Arsenii Dzhioev of Azerbaijan also defeated Rakhim Magamadov of France to finish third.
American wrestler Zahid Valencia beat Hayato Ishiguro of Japan 12 -0 in the final bout of 86kg.
The 2025 World Wrestling Championships started on September 13 in Zagreb, Croatia and will run until September 21.
