2025 CAFA Nations Cup: Iran Beats India
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated India 3-0 at the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup on Monday.
In the match, held at the Hisor Central Stadium in Hisor, Tajikistan, Amir Hossein Hosseinzadeh opened the scoring for Iran in the 59th minute.
Ali Alipour made the scoreboard 2-0 in the 89th and Mehdi Taremi scored Iran’s third goal in the dying moments of the match.
Iran, who had defeated Afghanistan 3-1 in their opening match, will meet Tajikistan on Thursday.
Group A participants are Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Oman.
