Int'l Conference Exposes Israeli State Terrorism

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An international conference denouncing Israeli state terrorism was held by the Habilian Association to coincide with Iran’s National Day of Fight against Terrorism.

Experts from Iran, Italy, Argentina, and Pakistan delivered sharp criticism of the Zionist regime and the Western powers that shield its crimes from accountability.

Speakers dissected Israel’s military assaults on Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, calling them systematic acts of state-sponsored terrorism.

They highlighted the entrenched double standards in global politics and law that allow the Zionist regime to continue its atrocities with impunity.

Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, Secretary General of the Habilian Association, opened the event by honoring Iran’s martyred nuclear scientists and the innocent women and children slain by Israeli attacks.

He paid tribute to all martyrs of assassination, stressing that resistance against terrorism remains a defining principle of Iran’s struggle.

Dr. Seyyed Hossein Mousavifar, Assistant Professor of International Law at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, condemned Israel’s military campaigns as flagrant violations of fundamental international law.

He underscored the regime’s disregard for principles of proportionality and distinction, citing its indiscriminate targeting of civilians in Gaza and Iran.

Italian analyst Giulio Chinnapi examined the silence of Western and Arab governments, blaming geopolitical alliances and the strategic interests of major powers for enabling Tel Aviv’s unchecked aggression.

Argentinian journalist Ursula Asta, of Radio Gráfica, exposed the complicity of Western media in sanitizing Israeli crimes.

She argued that mainstream outlets serve as tools of psychological warfare, dehumanizing Palestinian victims while legitimizing Zionist brutality.

Asta urged for counter-narratives to break this monopoly and bring truth before global public opinion.

Pakistani researcher Muhammad Murtaza criticized the West’s hypocrisy in defining terrorism.

He asked why non-state actors are instantly condemned while the Zionist regime’s massacres are rebranded as “self-defense.”

Murtaza pointed to the influence of Zionist lobbies in Western capitals as the driving force behind this distortion.

The Habilian Association emphasized that the conference aimed to foster international solidarity against Zionist state terrorism and to build a united intellectual front among scholars and activists.

It announced that the full recordings and texts of the speeches will be released soon.
