Vafaei Beats Jinhao at 2025 Wuhan Open
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hossein Vafaei defeated China’s Zhou Jinhao 5-2 at the 2025 Wuhan Open.
He will play Belgian snooker player Ben Mertens in the last 64 on Monday.
The Open is a professional snooker tournament that is taking place from August 24 to 30, 2025, at the Optics Valley Gymnasium, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in Wuhan, China.
The qualifiers took place from June 22 to 24 at the Leicester Arena in Leicester, England.
The winner will receive £140,000 from a total prize fund of £700,000.
