600 Palestinian Aid-Seekers Slaughtered in US-Israeli Murder Zones
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Palestinian civilians seeking food in Gaza continue to be massacred at so-called aid centers backed by Israel and the United States, with at least 600 killed so far amid rising international outrage and accusations of war crimes.
Israeli occupation forces, backed by US-funded contractors, have repeatedly opened fire on hungry Palestinians gathered at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid sites since late May.
The GHF, heavily promoted by Tel Aviv and Washington, has become a death trap for thousands of starving residents in the besieged enclave.
According to a report by the Associated Press, US mercenaries operating under the guise of security at the distribution sites have used live ammunition and stun grenades against civilians.
Despite mounting evidence, the GHF denies any wrongdoing.
Islam Alzanin, a grieving Palestinian mother, lost her son while he was trying to bring food home.
“My son was a bread-winner, I depended totally on him. He was killed and I am left with nothing,” she told Al Jazeera.
“I lost him and with it, I lost everything I had. He was the pillar and foundation of our life. After him, there is no life, nothing.”
She described the US-Israeli aid centers as “death traps”, stating that most of those killed were young men desperate to feed their families.
“We are forced to go there out of desperation for food. We go there out of hunger. We ran out of flour and everything else. Instead of coming back carrying a bag of flour, they, themselves, are being carried back as bodies,” she said.
Josep Borrell, former EU foreign policy chief, condemned the killing of “550 starving Palestinians” within a month, directly blaming US mercenaries deployed at GHF sites.
Aid delivered through the GHF is widely criticized by Palestinians for being nutritionally inadequate, extremely limited, and nearly impossible to access safely.
Families report that aid parcels barely last a few days and cannot be cooked due to a severe shortage of water and gas.
Children, already suffering from trauma, are showing widespread signs of malnutrition, exhaustion, and collapse.
Meanwhile, the Zionist regime continues its genocidal campaign.
At least 18 more Palestinians were martyred by Israeli forces since dawn, including 15 killed in a targeted airstrike on tents sheltering displaced people in al-Mawasi near Khan Younis.
Another victim was gunned down near the Netzarim Corridor while seeking food at a GHF distribution point.
As global awareness of these crimes grows, so does the anger among Palestinians and rights advocates who accuse the US and Israel of systematically weaponizing aid to humiliate, starve, and massacre a trapped civilian population.
