19 Killed in Gaza as Israeli Brutal Raids Intensify
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli forces escalated their brutal offensive across Gaza on the 109th day of the war, killing 19 Palestinians in the south while Palestinian resistance launched fresh retaliatory operations in both the north and south of the strip.
On day 109 of the Zionist regime’s savage war against Gaza since march 15th, Israeli occupation forces continue to bombard civilians across the strip, despite US claims of an imminent ceasefire.
The Zionist outlet Yedioth Ahronoth reported that US President Donald Trump is expected to formally announce a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas next Monday.
Hamas stated it is currently consulting with leaders of Palestinian factions regarding the American ceasefire proposal. “We are reviewing the proposal with all national groups,” the group said.
“Once consultations are complete, we will officially respond to the mediators.”
The statement emphasized that the discussions aim to halt the aggression against the Palestinian people and secure unrestricted humanitarian aid.
Palestinian resistance fighters carried out new operations in northern Gaza and Khan Younis, targeting Zionist military positions.
Israeli media downplayed the attacks, referring to them as “security incidents.”
Reports confirmed that Israeli helicopters landed in Khan Younis to evacuate wounded and dead soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army, under heavy censorship, acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers during clashes in northern Gaza.
In parallel, Yair Lapid, the head of the Zionist opposition, visited the United Arab Emirates and met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
Lapid also met with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed to discuss regional developments and efforts to recover Israeli captives held in Gaza.
In yet another crime, Israeli warplanes launched a new wave of attacks at dawn, targeting displaced Palestinians in Khan Younis.
One of the deadliest strikes today hit tents in the al-Mawasi area, injuring multiple people.
Gaza's medical authorities confirmed that 19 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids on the southern Gaza Strip since this morning.
In Yemen, thousands demonstrated across Saada, Raymah, and Marib provinces in solidarity with Gaza.
Chanting “We stand firm with Gaza and are ready to face the aggressors,” protesters condemned the Zionist crimes.
Dr. Khalil al-Daqran, spokesperson for al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, warned of an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
He said the Zionist regime’s nonstop attacks have crippled the region’s health system, with 23 hospitals now completely out of service.
Al-Daqran added that the occupation continues to block essential supplies, including baby formula, pushing over 600,000 children into life-threatening malnutrition.
Israel’s brutal war on Gaza has killed at least 57,130 people and wounded 134,592, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
