Israel Bombs Gaza Civilian Aid Sites, Killing 95 People
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli warplanes unleashed a wave of assaults across Gaza, obliterating aid distribution points, a school, a café, and a hospital courtyard, killing at least 95 Palestinians and wounding scores more in attacks condemned as systematic war crimes by local authorities.
Israeli forces bombed Al-Baqa cafeteria in northern Gaza City on Monday, killing 39 people, including journalist Ismail Abu Hatab, women, and children gathered for a birthday celebration.
Witness Yahya Sharif said the airstrike reduced the café to rubble.
“We found people torn apart,” Sharif recounted. “This place wasn’t affiliated with anyone – no politics and no military association whatsoever.”
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud described the scene as a slaughter carried out without warning against displaced civilians seeking respite.
In the Zeitoun neighborhood, an Israeli strike on a food distribution warehouse killed 13 people collecting rations.
Another attack struck the Yafa School, which had been sheltering hundreds of displaced Palestinians.
Hamada Abu Jaradeh, who fled before the bombing, said residents were given five minutes to evacuate.
“We have been let down by the entire world for more than 630 days,” he said. “Death is with us and around us every day.”
At Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah, Israeli munitions ripped into a courtyard crowded with displaced families.
Tareq Abu Azzoum of Al Jazeera reported no warnings before the massive explosion, calling it the latest in a series of deliberate assaults on medical infrastructure.
“This facility has been targeted at least ten times,” Abu Azzoum said.
The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned the strike as a “systematic crime” aimed at annihilating the enclave’s health system.
In Khan Younis, Israeli forces attacked an aid hub operated by the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, killing 15 and wounding 50 Palestinians waiting for food.
According to Haaretz, Israeli soldiers were instructed to fire on civilians near aid centers, escalating the siege’s brutality.
Israeli forces also demolished homes in Khan Younis and issued fresh evacuation orders in northern Gaza, triggering new waves of displacement.
“In the news, we hear a ceasefire is near,” said Salah, a Gaza City resident. “On the ground, we see death and we hear explosions.”
Israeli tanks advanced into eastern Zeitoun, shelling residential districts as aircraft bombed four schools after ordering families to leave.
At least 10 Palestinians were killed in Zeitoun, with 13 more dead southwest of Gaza City, Gaza health authorities reported.
The United Nations said over 80 percent of Gaza is under military occupation or evacuation threats.
