Iran Delivers Heavy Blows to Israeli Targets in Central Tel Aviv
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks against the Zionist military targets early Saturday, bypassing Israeli air defenses and igniting fires in central Tel Aviv.
Iranian State media reported early Saturday that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) conducted a successful large-scale missile and drone operation targeting military and logistical sites in the heart of Israeli-occupied territories.
Sirens sounded across Tel Aviv and multiple Israeli settlements as explosions rocked several Israeli-occupied areas.
Israeli media, including Channel 12, acknowledged that ten ballistic missiles were launched from Iran, claiming that only five were intercepted.
One missile reportedly struck Holon, south of Tel Aviv, setting off a large fire and damaging a multi-story building.
In response to continued Iranian retaliatory bombardment, Israel began installing batteries of its new “Lightning” air defense system to counter Iranian UAVs, according to Channel 12.
The Jerusalem Post admitted that over a week after Israel’s attack on Iranian territory, “there is no indication of central government instability in Tehran; rather, its position has strengthened.”
Saturday’s strikes mark the 18th retaliatory assault launched by Iran, signaling Tehran’s intent to sustain and escalate military pressure until it deems strategic goals satisfied.
