Turkey Condemns Israeli Strike on Iranian State Media Building as ‘Barbaric’

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The head of Turkey’s Presidential Communications Directorate has strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s deadly airstrike on Iran’s state broadcaster building, calling the attack a blatant massacre of journalists and civilians.

Fahrettin Altun denounced the recent Israeli airstrike on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

“The Israeli attack on Iran’s national broadcaster, targeting media workers and civilians, is a clear massacre,” he stated.

Altun emphasized that “attacks on journalists and media professionals are barbaric and have no legal justification or legitimacy.”

“We, as Turkey, condemn this heinous assault and extend our condolences to the Iranian people over the loss of media personnel,” he added.

Altun also urged the international community to take action against Israel’s escalating aggression, which is “engulfing the entire region in flames.”

The Israeli regime’s latest strike on the IRIB building resulted in the martyrdom of several journalists and staff members, with multiple others injured.
