Iran Urges Expansion of Ties with Mexico
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Iran urged the country’s new ambassador to actively promote stronger ties with Mexico, which he described as a highly significant country in the Americas.
Iran’s newly-appointed ambassador to Mexico Abolfazl Pasandideh met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Tehran on Tuesday.
The envoy outlined his plans and priorities for strengthening the bilateral relations before starting his diplomatic mission.
Araqchi wished success for the new ambassador, highlighted Mexico’s significance in the Americas, and underscored the need to enhance relations and expand cooperation between Iran and Mexico.
