Araqchi to Meet Regional Officials in Oslo
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will meet a number of authorities from the neighboring and regional countries during an upcoming visit to Norway, the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry announced.
Speaking to Tasnim on Tuesday, Esmaeil Baqaei said Araqchi is going to visit Norway on June 11 and 12 to attend the 22nd edition of the Oslo Forum.
The spokesman noted that the foreign minister will express Iran’s stances and views in a main speech to the forum, adding that separate meetings will be also held with senior participants from other countries on the sidelines of the event.
According to the spokesperson, the Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to hold talks with a number of officials from the neighboring and regional states during his stay in Oslo.
Araqchi will naturally seize every opportunity to advance Iran’s policy of neighborliness and strengthen relations with the regional countries, he added.
